People are using eyelash curlers to remove blackheads

A skin care expert claims that you will have problems if you use an eyelash forceps to remove blackheads.

No one wants to have blackheads and these irritating clogged pores can ruin even the most perfect complexion. A Youtube channel "5 Minute Crafts MEN" has released a video that shows a man using an eyelash curler to squeeze white pus from the blackheads on his nose. The squeamish among you may want to look away.

Simone Shoffman, UK training manager at Therapie Clinic, warns that using a cosmetic will only damage your skin.

Simone said: "It can definitely cause a lot of trauma to the skin. It can cause broken capillaries by squeezing the nose because its a very thin area of skin. You could potentially push any congestion further into the skin, giving you more congestion or potentially a nodular cyst."

The tool can leave marks on the nose for a long time and even lead to scarring. Simone Shoffman тalso warns that "spider veins" and "broken capillaries" could be a consequence of using eyelash curlers to remove blackheads, leading to a need for laser therapy in later life to repair the damage. Instead, a skin specialist recommends regular professional facial treatments and the use of a good exfoliating treatment. When it comes to removing blackheads, leave the eyelash curlers alone
