Flight of the British airline Virgin Atlantic, which followed from Antigua to Gatwick airport, was forced to make an emergency landing at the L. F. Wade International Airport.
That happened because a bag with narcotic substance exploded in the stomach of one of the passengers.
48-year-old Colin Smith, who was involved in narcotics smuggling, swallowed more than 60 bags of this substance before boarding. When the plane left Antigua, he notified one of the flight attendants about his problem, and then fell unconscious.
